We always wanted to see JFK's grave site and now we did.

Today's outing. We do national monuments very well in this country.

Take me out to the ball game. Slugger Grandson Andrew at a ball game.

Our next stop was Thomas Jefferson's home and planation.

This is the court house in Appomattox Court House. The whole village has been beautifully restored and is on amazing green rolling hills in Virginia. It's really beautiful country here.

This is the McLean house in Appomattox Court House where Lee surrendered to Grant. I learned something new. Appomattox Court House is the name of the village. There is a court house there but they actually signed in the parlor of this home. Really interesting little place.

There are miles and miles and miles of Christmas tree farms in N. C.

This is a beautiful view of the Smokey Mts from the Blue Ridge Parkway. We didn't stay on the Parkway very long. It was very hilled and curvy and not much fun with the motorhome.

We Enjoyed driving a section of the Natchez trace as well and we hiked a small piece of the old trail from our camp ground.

Now our VACATION starts! We left on Thur morning and drove to Natchez MS and toured this planation house. This guy was really rich but lost it all after the Civil War.

The team leaving Lake Arthur camp with all the trailers and equipment.

we praise the Lord for his faithfulness to us and give him the glory for the work we have done.

As we say goodby to the shores of Lake Arthur,

Packing day party was a crawfish dinner made by the camp host. What a treat!

It looked like a giant garage sale, but I don't think headquarters would like that idea.

The tool trailer had to be emptied and cleaned and repacked as well.

Packing day at the camp. We are packing up everything! As we are about to leave Lake Charles for good.

Our good byes to Moses at his house as we were about to leave.

Monday was our last day of work for our clients. We were able to get most of the work done on this new kitchen.

Just across the parking lot from the crabbing was a canal with gators!! If I had known that they were so close I may have been on top of the car!

Our last Sat here in Lake Charles brought us to the shores for crabbing. The camp host and her family lead the way and helped us catch a few. What fun.

We are wrapping up our work time in Lake Charles. We will work for the clients tomorrow and then next week we will spend 3 days packing up the site. We are leaving Lake Charles and closing this site. It has been a special place for us to work with many wonderful people we have helped. Sad to move on but knowing that God was glorified is all that matters.

This is the after on the side of the house we are working on. I did the before a couple of pictures ago.

We have enjoyed watching the rice seeding with small planes over the rice paddies. Heck of a way to plant sees, huh?

The azaleas' are in full bloom. What an amazing gife to see them every day. They are everywhere!

This is the before picture of the side of a house we are working on. And the front of the same house after it was fixed and painted.
