Oh silly us, we thought we were going south for a while.  We had snow in N.C the morning after we left.  Mar 30 even.
This abandon house was a treasure, I thought it was really charming.
From the roof to the floor, we did it all
Lots of fun painting base and casing
We were so blessed to work in Hyde county N.C. again.  Hurricane Irene did lots of roof damage so our team did some metal roofing.
2014's first assignment took us to N.C.  We camped our way to the east coast.  This night we camped on the shore of the Mississippi river.
Whoopie, a new fun craft.  Choc-peppermint soap making.
Great Joy of having the grandkids  living close by.  Hannah learning to sew.
Nov and Dec of 13 we helped finish a bedroom and bathroom in our daughters new house.  What joy working with her to create a new room for our granddaughter.
After sharing the knit doll pattern with the Hillcrest Ladies, they went to work and made 400 dolls for missions.  These are some of them, they donated 65 to Eastern Hills for the girls in Zambia.
The New York country side.
The Upstate New York fall colors were amazing.
After leaving Michigan in the fall we continued on to Scholharie, NY for a 3 1/2 week work assignment.  This is one of the projects we worked on.  This family lost their home to the flood and are building a new home from the frame of an old barn.
