We are settling in back at home and thankful for a wonderful trip and safety and God's blessings. When we left MI we went to Clinton, IA area to visit dear friends and harvest some worms for my bins back home. From there we went to Wisc to visit Aunties and Uncles and cousins. Nice time to visit and wonderful welcome. While we were in Wisc. we toured the Jung Seed company. Very interesting and fun to see how the little seeds are packaged and stored and all the other details for seed catalogs.

We are now in Michigan visiting our Son's family. We had a safe trip and relaxed and enjoyed the hills of W. Vir and Penn and Ohio. We did tour the Hall China co. in East Liverpool, OH which was really interesting and if I didn't have my cupboards full already it would have been very tempting to buy a bunch of that beautiful stuff.

Barrett taking his new oath of office from the General

We were priviledge to witness our son-in-laws pin on of Lt. Col at the Pentagon.

This is the Hope Diamond in the Smithsonian. Would be nice to mine for that little stone.

Next we walked through the FDR memorial, that was beautiful.

The next day out was to the Washington mall to see the Jefferson Memorial.

Standing on this spot George Washington resigned his commission as the commander-in-chief of the continental army. We stood on that spot too in the Maryland State Capitol

The Naval chapel was breath taking.

We had an exciting day in Annapolis.
